QUEEN CITY FORWARD
A hub for social entrepreneurs
Queen City Forward is a hub for social entrepreneurs that purposefully encourages, enables and scales high-impact social enterprises in order to build a robust cluster of innovation in the Charlotte region that spurs economic development, improves the lives of citizens, and drives a new model of sustainable economic and social impact. Creating our ideal economy.
Rachel Martin was the design director and project lead for AIGA Charlotte’s Design Lives Here program with Queen City Forward as its client. Within the three-month program, Rachel and her team developed strategies for Queen City Forward by walking them through the design process from the brand discovery phase and creative brief all of the way through a fully flushed out brand. This included rebranding the organization with a new brand story and mission, logo, brand standards guide, a new identity system, signage, collateral, marketing materials, swag, product branding and a new website.
