AIGA now represents more than 22,000 design professionals, educators and students through national activities and local programs developed by 66 chapters and 200 student groups. Rachel Martin has been an AIGA member since 1998 adhering to the Standards of professional practice. The Designers Accord
The Designers Accord is a global coalition of designers, educators, and business leaders, working together to create positive environmental and social impacts. Rachel Martin was an early adopter of The Designers Accord and integrates the principles of social and environmental sustainable design into all aspects of its practice and encourages every client to integrate these fundamentals into their projects.

Design Can Change
Design Can Change is an initiative to bring together the world's graphic design community to address the issues surrounding climate change. Rachel Martin has taken the pledge and uses the opportunity to talk to clients about this issue, engages them in discussion about sustainability and helps them find ways to make positive change.

DESIGN 21: Social Design Network
DESIGN 21: Social Design Network's mission is to inspire social activism through design. It is a collaborative project undertaken by the global design and merchandise company Felissimo and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, better known as UNESCO. DESIGN 21 believes that change happens when we design better, together. It is a resource to make collaborative change happen: a designer shares ideas with a green business, an arts non-profit connects with a governmental outreach program, a researcher in England brainstorms with an industrial designer in India. Rachel Martin is a member of the organization and supports its motto of "Better design for the greater good".
